On the other hand, DSL (Digital Subscriber Line), cable, and fiber are types of WAN connections that provide internet connectivity over wider geographical areas. DSL and cable typically use existing telephone or cable TV infrastructure, while fiber optic connections utilize fiber optic cables for high-speed data transmission over long distances.
